Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP)
New York Foundation for Senior Citizens Home Attendant Services (NYFSCHAS) serves as a Facilitator for Medicaid eligible “Consumers” who wish to participate in the Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP) and who select employ, train and supervise their Personal Assistants to provide them with home care.
NYFSCHAS provides support services for Consumers and their Personal Assistants, including registering them with Public Partnerships LLC (PPL), New York State’s one and only CDPAP Fiscal Intermediary, which pays the Consumers’ Personal Assistants for the home care services they provide for them.
